For Your Customer…
There are three main “Reasons” why your customer is not paying, and we have unique and proactive approaches for each.
The first includes those customers who will not pay because they are unhappy with you for some reason. It may be sales related, service related, value driven, or due to a failure in communication. At Fairshare we know how to mitigate such situations and re-monetize them.
The second group of non-payers are those customers who have suffered a ‘long-term life crisis’, like the loss of a spouse, permanent reduction in income, or a permanent disability. If managed creatively and smartly, these customers can still be accretive.
The third group, and usually the largest, is comprised of customers who have suffered a ‘short-term life crisis’. The profile of a ‘short-term life crisis’ customer is someone who experienced a situation in life that prevented them from making timely and regular monthly payments on their obligation. Such situations may include loss of employment, non-debilitating injury, health issue, or perhaps a change in marital status or in the family. The Covid-19 pandemic certainly qualifies as one of those short-term crises. Whether your customer caught the virus or not, he or she is very likely to have been affected.
Sometimes there is more than one reason for a delinquency or default. At Fairshare, we have the sophistication, experience, sales, and customer service skills needed to solve them all. Of course, diligent and frequent customer contact is key. But we go far beyond the ‘Agency’ model of just ‘dialing for dollars’. We also bring empathy, data mining, customer care, and an understanding of your bottom line. We do not just collect your accounts, we collect your customers. So as we succeed in recovering more of your delinquent and written-off portfolios, you will succeed in retaining valuable customers!
A simple business axiom that we at Fairshare Solutions have learned has been key to our success in helping a diverse group of clients:
“GIVEN THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY, MOST DEBTORS WILL WANT TO RESOLVE THEIR DEBT.”
The ‘right opportunity’ differs depending on the customer, the client’s business model, and our mutual objectives.
Our goal in resolving debt is always to maximize monetization for you, and satisfaction for your customer.
